Why Nothing You've Tried Online Has Worked (And What Will)

If you’ve dabbled in MLMs, Etsy, affiliate links, digital products or “just post more” strategies… and none of it worked? It’s not your fault. Most platforms and programs weren’t built with overwhelmed moms in mind. This post breaks down why you’ve failed before — and the exact shifts to finally win online. Disclaimer: I failed many times before I built my online brand and that was usually because I was trying too many things and not working focused. I see many women who do the same thing especially when they are comparing themselves to the success others are having. The ones who succeed are the ones who test, pivot and push through and don't doubt themselves.
1. The hard truth: Most online programs aren’t designed for you
They’re built for people with teams, time, or tech experience.
They expect you to “just show up” — without telling you what to say, to who, or how to package it.
They sell mindset. You needed a system.
2. You’re doing too much — without knowing what matters
Most women I see start with:
Canva templates
Posting daily on Instagram
Watching free webinars
But without clarity on:
Who your product is for
What you actually offer
Why people should buy from you
You don’t need more tactics. You need a simple path to clarity.
3. What actually works (even if you’ve failed before)
Start with the outcome, not the platform.
Don’t ask “Should I sell on Etsy?” Ask: “What do I want to create that people need right now?” "What problem will my product or service solve?"
Pick one product and one audience.
Don’t build a store. Build a solution to one problem — digital or not.
Follow a proven framework.
Clarity + product setup + simple marketing = your first real income stream. That’s why I built the Freedom Starter Guide — it walks you through every step without the confusion.
FAQ
Q: What if I’ve tried and failed before?
That’s exactly why this exists — because you’ve tried. The problem was the path, not you.
Q: I’m not techy. Can I still do this?
Yes. The tools today (like Stan Store, Canva, ConvertKit) are drag-and-drop simple — and the guide walks you through them.
Q: How fast can I make money?
If you commit an hour a day for 30 days, you can launch and make your first sale. The key is consistency, clarity, and a system. As long as you pick a product (digital or service) that solves an in demand problem for a specific group of people, you show up authentically, and have your systems in place you should start to see results. Do some people see success very quickly? Yes, but what most of those people don't tell you is they have usually tried a number of things previously. Do not compare yourself!!
